hi im new i need some help with a phat boy

i got a psp phat boy 1000 s when i got it none of the button would work so i put my pandora battery and magic stick in it its running 3.70 m.33 on it it modded it fine the buttons would work as long as the vsh was dissabled but when you start any game umd or iso dont matter.try to get out of the game by pushing home button it wont allow you to push yes or no.plus the vollum keeps having a x thu the speaker and whe you go on to make your name it jumps back and forth i checked th id manager ever thing says okay so wat can i do

might be something faulty with the home bar, check the connections
