Bring back Duck Hunt

I know there are a few companies that have tried to revive some of the old shoot-em up games and am wondering if anyone has tried for the diy?  I stumbled across this TopGun LCD, and wondered if one could modify it to work on the original nes also?  Looking to revive some old systems??
