How Can i Play Game boy couler on my ds lite?

please help i love the classic games but i dont wanna buy a gameboy couler off ebay and i heard thir is ways to play your gameboy couler games on my ds and that would be great if its posible i have the game and all but i noticed that when ever you try to put in your gameboy couler games it gets stuck and thir r two lil small thing blocking it off i dont know if i would need to do that. i dont wanna have like a sp game that lets u play the clasic gameboy games i wanna put in the old game cartige so please help me with this is you do then your the best and pwn! thanks for your time and please helpp!

Oh, but If you had an r4 and made a back up and put it on the r4 then you would be ok

in addition to the r4 you would need a freeware program that goes on the ds called lameboy which will allow you to play the games
it is essential for the game boy color games to work

No, you can, I saw a mod somewhere to do so.

just get an r4 and get an emu and put the roms in.. simple as that...

the ds gba slot has its own bio that is writen to take the hardware of a gba games,
and then you would need to flash the Ds and gba bio to a custom firmware, thats hard as  :censored:ing hell, Nobody would do that becuase it could brick forever
and needs a flash card and r4 or whatever homebrew device to even start with,
Plus you need hardware skills to modify the slot to hold in the gb, gbc game


but then if you have a r4 or whatever, most would just use a gb emu

I saw the link posted on this forum.
On the DS, they didn't make any proper attempts to stop it, all they did was put a corner of the gba slot over the IC, which when two pins are jumpered together (I think) you could play gameboy games.
I will try and find it, but it is probably gone with the cleanup.

The ds doesnt have the progaming to run it

I seriously can't find it, although I definitely remember seeing it!

I also vaguely remember who posted, I think it was p3nnyw1se, although I could be wrong.
