orig. xbox to 360 adapter

do these exist? as in being able to use an original xbox controller on a 360? does anyone know of an adapter for the controller?

from what i know i dont think its possible because there arents bumpers they have the white and black buttons

I know one way without having to open up the controller.  You have to get an XFPS 360 which lets you connect ps2 controllers to your xbox 360

true... i wouldn't mind an adapter like that myself, i've got several xbox 1 controllers. if only it were a bit cheaper to do

Pelican makes a controller for xbox 1 that has relocated black and white buttons, they moved them to the bumpers. thats what i use when i play doom3 or halo2, makes it that much easier.

You could just mod the orig con into a usb controller and probably use it. It might work, I can test my own tomorrow.
(FYI to do so, just splice a usb cable and the controller cable and solder the wires based on color [white to white, red to red, black to black, grn to grn] and don't use the yellow on the orig con)

it should work, white and black buttons are the bumpers on the original controller. and orange is prob. gnd, so w/e about it

definitely try this and let us know if it works. i might have to buy some controller extension cables because two of my controllers are wireless, but its alot cheaper than buying 3 brand new 360 controllers.
