Do you mean like the 1.5 kernal? it lets you play 1.5 homebrew.  Run the app on the psp

don't know never used it

popsloader is for psx games.  it runs them under different firmware settings.  (IE:  FF7 works on 3.71 m33 but not on 5.00 m33 so you use popsloader to get it working under 5.00m33)

and 5.00 fatsmod is to load the memorystick driver of 3.71 on 5.00 ........... it is because the drivers for firmwares later than 3.71 were crappy and slow so it makes the memory read faster........(i use it)
