im wondering where did u get that black layer covering the speakers from, do they sell those things?

I apologize for bringing this back from the dead. I have tried this mod with two different SE speaker sets:
MPS-70
MPS-60
And with both of them I find the speakers WAY too deep to mount on the UMD door. I cant even come close to closing the door with them there Maybe I am just getting bad speaker revisions?  please help

NVM!! lol I just watched the video again for the 100th or so time and just now realized that the speaker frame was mounted on to the UMD door. I would image that would provide the space needed  :P

Just mounted it and slathered it with some bondo, then off to the paint booth after 23 days of sanding will post up pics when it is done.
