backups should work exactly the same as the originals.  The idea of a backup is that the 360 cant tell its a backup.

Yeah, achievements, online games, everything works exactly the same as a genuine copy.

Just my idea on backups, people who torrent their games should have to put their iso into some ripping software.
To remove achievements
Downscale the games/cutscenes (make them look like crap)
Watermark everything
etc

Just do stuff like that to piss people off. An incentive to buy the game ;).

I would make this software, but I be program nub. And no one would probably use it.
Whats the point in pirating games anyway. If you don't have the cash, steal it off one of your friends until you have all the pretty e-penis points you need. Then give it back.
Can't get banned, perfectly legal and your sad obsession for constantly gaining gamerscore is fulfilled.

Why do people play games for the gamerscore anyway? I might go for a few tricky achievements to prove i've done something. Like TTFAF and expert. But apart from that, why? Its a bunch of numbers that people have to open your profile to see anyway. What happened to the good old "Blow :censored: up"? Thats all I go on Live for. I don't open everyones gamercards, who i'm playing with. Just to see the 4-5 digit number by their name.

Sorry for the rant :P.

i could never understand why some people would play for hours just to get a achievment. me personally once i beat a game i lose all interest in it and usually just trade/sell it on craiglist for another game i haven't played yet. but than again that is on my PS3 so there is a lack of options when it comes to backing up games LOL
Here's my 2 cents on a 3 cent conversation.
