we could make a connector that woul dallow us to fit a few of these hard drives in the umd drives. 16 gig that u can select.

Yeah, or someone could just take the time to figure out how to connect a microhdd connector to the ms input connections. Then place the connector in the umd drive at the bottom where the the disk would normally sit and put in a guiding cage so that the hdd could be interchanged.

Yeah thats what someone should do.

The psp is not a host, it is a slave and so is the HDD meaning that it won't work if both are slaves.

Uh... Or just use the photofast mod... Definitely cheaper, easier, more durable, etc.

Why do all you people want so much memory?! I mean wtf are people going to do with 100gb psp HD's even if we get it done? I cant even fill up an 8gb card with data...

And this has been argued for over an over and nobody can up with a solution making it close to impossible..
