Ok, I have decided to make the theme. Here is a screen shot of what me and mendez have so far...

Please comment and let us know what your looking for in a theme. This is an actual screen shot from my ipod, no photoshoping of stuff there!

What happened to the OFFICIAL background that Ken and I made??

No offense but I don't like it. It just looks...kinda weird. I'd have to see it on my iTouch to really see it.

In case you can't find it yourself, the iTouch theme board is here.

1 - you can have more than one official background take this as been another.
2 - thats your opinion to have so thats ok
3 - this thread was originally to garner wether it would be a good idea and if people wanted and general discussion was the best option for that as it is more widely viewed where as ipod touch section isn't viewed often.
4 - doug knows where the theme board is he just decided to post in the general section to get more people to vote

i saw on qj that they are going to release the 3G jailbreaking tools on the new years. idk if itll work, i dont have a i touch or iphone

3G is pretty much jailbroken already. iTouch 2g won't be for a long time, if it ever is.

Ya the theme isn't that great, however, if you got a full scheme going, like matching icons to go with the theme, than it might be more appealing.

I also agree on some matching icons. Also, in the top left, where it says Acidmods, then shows the wifi bars, I think it seems... a little big. Sticks out too far out. Perhaps make font smaller (is that possible?) or maybe just change Acidmods to AM?

Like the first one. However there is a pretty big gap between AM and the wifi bars, isn't there? Maybe it's just me.

Ohh that's pretty good. Maybe go more with the theme of Acidmods with some slightly darker blues and blacks? Maybe contrast a little with the background though so maybe slightly lighter. So I guess try something along the middle of your safari icon and the background? Idk I suck at photoshop so yeah...

it is left over webclips that wont be in the theme

That's awesome! That with skull's background, keyboard, and top bar will look sweet! I think your slightly lighter icons with skull's slightly darker background will have a good contrast.

Here's mine and Robins again. We now have a good scheme down for the icons that looks totally awesome! They are still being edited so they are not perfect just yet but here you go. Comment and let us know! Also, if you have any icons for your touch/phone that you do not see here please find a way to get us them so we can make sure we have a very large icon pack. Thanks!

also we will try our best once released to keep it updated with new icons as they are requested and eventually once we got it all working and a decent icon pack for it we will try to get it onto a cydia repository so that people can download and update it straight from cydia

but yeh when that screencap was posted i only had the touch icons as i was having problems getting into the root of my iphone for the iphone icons but i dod that now so we have iphone icons - plus a few app icons at the minute we have about 93 icons total. and if there are missing articles for other apps when people use it if they tell us the app and where to download it from or give us a screenshot then we will add it. im just waiting for skull to be online to talk to him

Um, Well you want my two cents? The theme is suppsed to be "Themed" The BG doesn't just do it.

It looks good for a minimalistic theme.. But otherwise. It's medicore in my opinion.

An iPod touch is not the same as an iTouch. iTouch is a knockoff brand.
