AcidMods Shop Screwdriver
« on: January 01, 2009, 06:59:36 PM »
I would assume that the AcidMods T9 screwdriver will work on 360 wireless controllers with security bit, right? I was just wondering because it appears that most websites say T8s work with the controller, but the AcidMods store sells T9s so I was just checking.

You really dont need any special screwdrivers, a flathead works fine.
Use the flathead, or something else to break off the post in the middle (of the screw),
it comes off pretty easily if you bend it to one side and then the other.
After the post is off you can just use a flathead.

Treemty what the hell. Be quiet.
Don't bash someone if you don't have a clue about what you're talking about.
His idea WORKS and is a very GOOD way of opening them up if you don't have a security bit.

I agree, works quite effectively. I didn't even try and snap the lil things off in the middle and just went straight to unscrewing them and they broke off anyway. It works, but the correct screw driver is always better...your choice.

i use a small flathead screwdriver to break the post off in the middle and then use a normal T9 screwdriver to undo the screws

Alright thanks guys - I think I'll go and buy the screwdriver from AcidMods. Sounds like trouble to snap off the post and apparantly it's hard on your screwdriver.

a flat head will work to open the controller, just like the nochip method will work for rapid fire, not the correct way to do it, but will get'er done. LOL

of course microsoft would use a screw you cant just go out and buy. what a bunch of ******

I change out the srcwers with a philips #4x3/8 when I put a controller back together
