How to Make Elite Adapter?

Hey Guys, Seems i have run into a little problem and would like to see if anyone could assist me on this.

Recently I have bought a Tailsmoon Whisper fan (not the Whisper Max) and it seems that i need a --- 3-pin to 4-pin adapter. (since i have an elite)

I would like to know if i can possibly make my own one? instead of paying for one. I have all the necessary supplies and am electronic friendly with wires and whatnot.

Would this even be possible?

just connect red to red, white to white, and black and green to black.

what would happen if i would get the aurora lights where would they go?(in case i get them)

instead of an old fan hookup like you suggested cant i just use the old fans connector (on the elite?)

Actually i didn't even need to make an adapter, i came with one for free!
