There's some people at my school that have gauges in their ears. This guy even put combination locks through his ears.   

why would anyone do that!? I personaly like gauges (not massive ones mind), but then why would you put a lock through it. someone at my collage did something similer with a pad lock and it ended up being ripped out while he was running to class. Not a pretty site.

I mean I only want 5mm, that nothign id bearely be able to fit a pencil through that, although i may go up to 10 for the kicks and to experience the self-stretching process XD
