PSP Charger
« on: January 25, 2009, 05:55:40 PM »
Hey guys,

I don't know if this is the right forum to post this in but w/e.

I want to mod my PSP charger so that when it's plugged into the socket, it has a LED maybe like RED and then when it's connected to my PSP it's orange. And if possible, could it detect whether the bat. is 100% charged and change LED to Green?

I just wanna know how it's done, as a little mod for my psp charger.

Thanks in advance.

There isn't really a way that I know of that you can make the transition from red to orange. The current is flowing throughout the cord so there isn't really a way for it to change between being plugged into the wall and plugged into the psp.

The psp stops itself from charging when the battery is 100%. The charger doesn't do that.
Only thing I could think of you doing is putting a simple led hooked to the 5v going to the psp with a resistor.

If I am wrong with any of my comments, please tell me
