360 MEMORY CARD USB

...Okay, WTF has gone wrong?
no matter how many times i fiddle with wires, resolder, its does'nt work!
Im using 33 OHM

Ive tried 2 memory cards... IT WONT WORK
i plug it in my laptop and it says "USB Device not recognized" ... Over and Over again!

Any help! Please!

hmm.. Maybe, but it gets detected in windows.. I dunno i might try another Usb cable..

EDIT: the resistor in you picture is a 33k ohm, you want a *orange, *orange, black, gold resistor.  Always a good idea to check your resistors with a meter, and pay attention to the k as in kilo or one thousand.(the resistor in the pic is 33,000 ohms or 33k ohm)

if resistor is actually correct it must be the usb driver? did you download the correct driver that gameroms linked to in his thread? Maybe it is a vista issue with the driver?(I think gameroms uses vista tho) Maybe try it on an XP machine?

edit: *orange not yellow duh!

you want a yellow, yellow, black, gold resistor.

so what is type of resistor is it?
yellow, yellow, black, gold is a 44 K resistor... in Gameroms tut is said 33 K

By yellow i think you mean orange...

That'd be cool if you guys figuered this out. I have the exact same problem. Oh, and I do have Windows Vista.

Make sure you have the correct resistor! Like the one in the pic above ^

Yep I'm positive I had the correct resistor.
