Datel hard drive hack?

Ok, so I've been reading all the posts saying you can't add a hard drive blah blah blah and yes I'm a noobie, so just hear me out so we can move along.  A few years back I ran across the Datel 4gb hd for the psp.  this seems stupid now because you can get 8gb memory cards, but it got me wondering- couldn't you pop it open, remove the internal hard drive and wire it to a larger hard drive?  Don't see why not, but then again, that's why I'm a noob.  Let me know what you think, thanks.

There have been topics like this in the past.. No you cant the limit on those boards are 4gb.
