Need help with my umd mod with led's

Ha,I have a phat psp and a slim im going to mod my phat with the umd mod and i would like to have led to Could someone please tell me evry thing i need and were is the best place to get them .

I'll give you a huge piece of advice:

Use the search.

I don't mean to be mean, but these things have been asked, so perhaps you'll get some good results 

As for getting leds, I get mine from Ebay. Very good quality, and cheap too.

phenoptix.co.uk is a good place too. They carry loads of LEDs and kynar wire of like 5 different colours. Nice and cheap, and high quality stuff too. I think it's even cheaper than ebay.

Your not being mean i just dont know any thing about modding (all good).I went to phenoptix.co.uk good site thanks. I know you need the 0603 smd led's but is there a better color to use.there is all differnt mcd like 100,400 500 what should i use

3mm are kinda bulky... You can add them into the triggers but you have to dremel all the plastic off the sides and its a pain to get them into the trigger. As for adding into a UMD Door, only way is if you took the UMD Drive out.

Thats not true. You can fit 0603 LEDs fine without removing the umd drive. The mcd is a rating of the brightness of the led. The higher the number, the brighter the led. Which ones you should use all depends on how bright you want your umd door to be.

I think he was referring to 3mm leds. Anyway yeah mcd is SUPPOSED to represent brightness, but apparantly there isn't much difference between 200mcd and 2000mcd.

cool thanks.I just orderd a 100 of the 0603 led from ebay.i would like to do the trigger mod and the umd mod i pritty shore what to do but not a 100% what is the best wirer diogram for these and the best way to turn of the led thanks

Wire diagrams can be found EVERYWHERE! Just search, I don't feel like searching for them. As for the best way to turn off leds, the wifi switch is really good, or hold switch.
