Finished my lastest speaker mod
« on: January 24, 2009, 07:41:36 PM »
The speakers that I ordered from mouser just came today.  Installed into my slim and it fitted perfectly. The sound is VERY loud and they are the loudest I ever put in a PSP. I just connected them directly to my speaker. They are extremely thin and they only costed about $2 each. The whole speaker is plastic so it can probably be painted to match your PSP.  :hifive:

Looks great, i agree with the rest in regards to Soulja Boy. however the mod looks clean, if you can spray paint it, you should totally match the speaker to the back plate. Nice one :)

These speakers I have are fine. I'm selling and installing them for friends for only $10. Can I see some pics of your speaker?

The speakers I get from singing cards are all metal and thinner than that one
Is that partially plastic?

I still don't have a complete idea for installing the camara. Will it still have the possibility to use the usb port as data transfer?

I thought in buying the speakers recommended by psp339 just that maybe a different model since I want more sound power.

Those are the best speakers I can find on mouser that fits inside the PSP slim. The nest bigger size it a little too thick for the slim but probably fits in the phat.

Yeah, I have been taking notes and measuring and I want to see which one is better for me, since I also want to add a camera to the system. =D

Well no matter how thick it is, you could always fit the camera under the mobo near the mem stick slot, or even off to the side of the door a bit. Of course, if it's really wide you might have problems...

Is there any other usable camera instead of the Choto Camera ?
It's somewhat expensive to open it crack open.

That camera is the only one that work with the PSP.
