XCM fan does not fit?

XCM cpu cooler fan does not fit?....
i have the HDMI version and it plugs in and works but where it is suppose to go there is already a heat sink where as on the other 360 that i just installed one on there wasn't?

what do i do?

example of what is is suppose to look like but where this fan is...there is a heat sink

even if i did it would not fit in there still be the main heat is to tall for the fan to fit in enough for the top shell to go on?

   What size cooling fan were you using? I always use 70mm size cooling fan and it fits perfectly.
