NEED HELP, have a CG controller question?????

Can I do the very simple 2 wire w/ a momentary switch rapid fire mod to a newer CG controller?????? :help:

It's to do with the way the grounding works on the old controllers. In the most basic sense they have a pulsing ground, CG controllers do not. Even if you did have a matrix board I would still recommend not doing this mod it is erratic and tends to break controllers.

If you want to mod the controller yourself just use a kit from the acidmods shop here is the most basic kit available:

4 Mode Dual Trigger Rapid Fire Kit With Led Display 3 Mode Dual Trigger Rapid Fire has Rapid Fire features that can be controlled idividually on both left and right triggers of the controller. The kit consists of a Program Chip, wires and two buttons. Each button is used to turn Rapid Fire on and off for its associated trigger. Both Buttons can also used to select the speed, which is applied to both buttons. The left Rapid Fire uses player 3 LED to indicate when it is active, and the right Rapid Fire uses player 4 LED to indicate when it is active.

Modes and campatible games:
Mode1 COD4(fast!) RB6, GOW I/II
Mode2 Halo3 and COD4, GOW I/II
Mode3 COD5(faster, no cap!)
Mode4 COD5(slower, no cap!)
