ok so i was talking to my mate who plays cod on pc and how people switch shoot to the scroll so i thought hey why dont i have that on my xbox so i wired up a a mouse scroller to trigger and it  worked

NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO FIND A SCROLL WHEEL LIKE THIS


and be careful i snapped plastic end and had to use allen key replacement centre piece :P

heres the first few pics/tutorial if you want
now i cut this hole by first drilling a pilot hole and then filed it to the shape i needed now each mouse scroller will be different i personally used the mouse and copied the hole where the mouse wheel was before



next check that the scroller fits and rolls


if thats all done now take the scroller and bend down the flaps mine came like this be carful and do what i did

firstly your scroll wheel should look like this if diffrent then im nto sure



next the wheel should slide out from switch bit so do so



after you have done that now you can bend the flaps down with out damaging wheel DO NOT BEND DOWN THREE CONNECTOR POINTS !!!! incase you snap !!



then reconnect wheel and see if it fits i will be mounting mine to the gray bottom piece with hot glue when im done so check that you can.



next i hot glued it make sure you do not glue the mechnaism



next you need to wire it to these points


just wire the two points on the scroll to that or you can wire what i did with a switch on the back so i can choose to have it on and off as there is some auto fire issues atm.

( the hardets part about this mod is making the hole and finding a scroll wheel like the one i used :P but i liek the result as it undectable as the faster you can scroll the faster you can shoot and with devlopment such as free rolling scroll wheels will mean this may be able to moved onto bigger and better devlopments : )

very interesting idea: use a mouse scroll wheel as the trigger input so that every click of the wheel is a shot from the gun.

I would try to install that where the right bumper is and relocate right bumper to back on controller.  Neat idea!

i just held my controller for a few mins and moved my fingers about and around that area seemed perfect for a scroll action just move your finger side to side

Sweet idea. I remember keying the fire command to the scroll wheel in counter-strike. You could empty the entire 30 rounds from the elites in under 2 seconds.

The only problem with that is you would have to remove your thumb from the 'aiming' stick in order to RF. That wont be very practical during gameplay.

thats why im going to put it where your middle finger goes. also does anyone know where can get a switch to switch it on and off how do u do this with the sync button ? ( if not synce soem small button/switch) and i will make a tut as i go along

remove the trigger assembly and install it there, no mods to the case required, well none to the outside anyway, it will feel natural, and look the best.

as for the sinc button, you will need a pic to do that, it theoredicaly can be done with a jk/latching flip flop but its not an easy task

ive decided to put it where right rumble would be i dont want to remove trigger completly as for some games i need to hold it uploading pics of so far soon
