sound mod question

im about to do the sound mod using lm386..

now what i want to know is do i just solder the + - audio output

from lm386 direct to the speaker + -???

Uhhmmm, haven't you seen the diagrams out there.  There's 2 resistors between the speaker output and the chip.

Ok the - and + INPUTS have the resistors on them. Yes the OUTPUT and the ground attach directly to the new speaker if that's what you meant.
