psp camera mod questions.

hey, what size drill bit should i use to drill a hole in the psp case to fit the camera in ? (i don't have a dremel) and where can i get a slide switch to switch between the camera and usb connection ?

I dont know which size drill bit I used, but you just start with really small one and work your way up.  As far the switch, Rat Shack has some. 

Are you doing this mod on a phat?

ya i'm going to do it on a phat, and if everything goes well possibly moving onto a slim afterwards. i was looking into radioshack i don't know if these are the rite sizes tough.... http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062490&tab=techSpecs. do you have a diagram to install it ?

Where are u gonna put it at on the phat?  UMD area, or WIFI/MS area?  Yeah those are the slide switches.  U dont really need a diagram, you pretty much just solder wires, respectively where they should go and wire up the switch on d+.

Under the wi-fi area. did you do this mod already ? if you did what would you rate the difficulty on this ? (1 to 10)

i havent done this but i heard its hard to take the cam apart. probably not too difficult but definitely not something u would want to jump right into.

Taking apart the little camera isn't that bad.  There's like 3 screws and the rest u just pry off.  Soldering wires to the cameras USB port is also easy.  Soldering to the usb mobo is a little tougher though, just gotta be patient.
