i just did mine on sunday it works great unless your sister gets her dirty hands on it and bricks it some how.......

no worries i got it back to normal in like 2 mins

Its just restoring all the music etc onto it now... Its taking its time..

Its Been An Hour And A Half And Its Half Way There... Did you Click On Restore To Last Sync.. If You Didn't Am I Waiting All this Time For Nothing..?

You have to hit "Sync"...

Mine took roughly 3 hours because of 2600 songs totaling 19gb and a complete dvd video and also lots of apps.

Well... it came up and stuff, but it was like start a new ipod or restore to whatever time i last synced..

I synced from a backup i made just before jailbreaking it

Jailbreak, plug it in and it will ask to restore from the backup, do that, then press sync when it's done. You're fine.

a few hours isnt that bad my 5g ipod takes about 9 hours + to restore all my music (17500+ songs) when i erase it or pdate it.
