Don't you hate your gaming on the psp and someone is calling?
well, now you can just answer trough the psp!

The idea:

- buy a bluetooth headset.
- hook up the speaker to the speakers from the psp.
- made a tiny hole in the psp for the mice of the headset.
- hook up the battary from the psp to the headset for longer use.
- make the answercall button connected to the hold button.
- the power button from the bluetooth headset will be where the battary is so you cant see it.

if this all works and i made it i may make a headset.

this is the idea and i hope it will work!

any ideas?

i just bought a usb headset from dealextreme and should be here in like a week.

cheapest i could find.
i dont need a super expensive one because ill just trow away the casing.
and this one seems small enough to fit intenal.

I am going to use one of those mice's in the psp, just not sure to where to put it. Any idea's?

I am going to use this wifi antenna froma old ds lite to extend the bluetooth range. i think ill get 25 meters out of this.

Sounds Liek a cool idea, very intuitive. I don't know hwo you would be able to make a seperate headset but i'd like to see how you do this

a psp 1000 would be much more easy
never tried it with a psp 2000, but im pretty sure ill manage

Im Pretty sure yo dont have to remouve the Umd Since your removing the battery from the bluetooth it should fit under the memory stick cage.

I understand the idea behind this but most head sets on phones dont let you listen to music or anything like that with a blue tooth head set.

How will you get the psp to pick up the sound from the call and to stop playing the sound from the psp: game, movie, music your playing.

Most head sets set to a phone will end what ever you are doing when a call comes through, the kind of ping the head set and stops what ever is going on, would it try to cut the sound or would it try to boot you out of the game?

Pretty much, how is it going to work without messing with game play? Great idea.

Im pretty sure you will have to amplify the sound since the bluetooth wont give out enough power to make your speaker sound alright yo could also solder your speaker directly to the mobo and use switch to disable the sound of the psps from passing thru

i hope so, its a mess in my psp atm....
long wires and loads of crap.
i didnt wanted to short every wire down till i get my own bluetooth headset.
and it sucks to do small soldering with this deciese, makes me verry tired and makes my hands shakes

its still in progress, i am waiting for my own bluetooth headset now.
everything is ready and i can install it right away:)
i may build in some leds, so when i get a incomming call the leds will blink
