could this be fixed??

hey, my friend has a broken xbox 360 that turns on has sound but dosent display a picture. is there anyway possible to fix this?

Lol tell him to make sure the cable is set to TV and not HDTV...

Have you tried using a new cable to see if that's the problem?

yeah.. could it be a problem with one of the pins (internal part of te 360)? for the video cable connector thingy??

Well, has he ever opened it? If not, it's kinda unlikely that there's a problem with the pins cuz I don't think you can bend them from the outside. I'm kinda out of ideas too.

This has to do with the gpu. It's a similiar problem like the RRoD. You might be able to fix it by doing the x clamp fix. If it's still under the 1 yr warrenty, send it back to ms.

where can i get the x-clamp kit .. ive heard of it and know how to install but dunno where to get.. lol :dntknw:

Instead of starting a new topic i thought id just continue from this,
Its a similar problem but doesn't have sound either. However, on non HDTVs it has sound but no picture
What was the result of the x-clamp?
