Mobo model matters??
« on: March 31, 2009, 08:27:55 PM »
yes yes I will probably get flamed for asking such a noobish question, but does the mobo model matter if your replacing your current mobo? like if I had a PSP that everything worked but the mobo would I have to get the SAME model when I replace it? I mean I don't think so because none of the other parts are model efficient like you don't request a certain model number when you order a UMD drive or pobo.

yes it would have to be the same model # so the wifi board matchs up with it or you will have sound problems because they are a matched pair

On the slim the wifi is connected directly to the mobo though. And the speakers match up with the mobo? is that what your saying?
