Looks like you didn't connect both ribbons.
You might wanna connect the backlight ribbon into the thing.(Push it in all the way)
It'll be easier to see whether the screen is messed up or not.

You broke the back light connector. So many people break it on accident...I broke it once myself on my phat a long time ago. Easiest fix is to get a new motherboard. You can try taping the ribbon down to see if that works.
