Bought ta-079 mobo from friend.
« on: April 12, 2009, 01:21:32 PM »
I bought 1 mobo from my friend which is missing all of the resistors around memorycard led. could someone plz try testing the resistor values, so ill buy new ones. I bet bridging all of those points doesnt make it work, or would it?

Heres pic.

Well, in my opinion you might as well just bridge the resistors; it would save a lot of hassle and make the LED brighter :D
It's the basics that bring us down.

Yeah just bridge it, and swap ur leds out to blue... That might make them SUPER bright but they shouldn't blow.

I tried bridging all points, but mobo didint even boot. No green power light.. nothing. I took off all pieces of wire and then it worked again, but without wifi or ms leds. I bridget right points, powerboard ribbon had good contact. Maybe i just need the resistors.

Might as well leave it, then. wifi/ms leds aren't worth it to screw around with your mobo and potentially break it.
