Hello everyone i am noob to modding. I have some 8th" plexiglass and and i want to cut a window in my case my question is what is the best way to hold the plexiglass in? Also what it the best way to cut the plexiglass? And one more question is what is the easiest way of cuting a window in the dvd drive?

best way to cut plexi is to use a jig-saw.
to hold plexi in... use some REALLY strong double-sided tape.
and i have no idea about cutting dvd drive as i havent done it..

A dremel would work for the dvd drive. Same with the window and plexi. I agree with the double-sided tape for the window, and a jig-saw works really well for a window if you want straight cuts. For the plexi, I'm not sure though. Dremel should work.

Thanks for the help guys i will use a jig for the plexi. Now does anyone have any cool ideas on cutting the dvd drive? I have a hitachi if that helps any.
