okay so like i said i did a clear case swap to my psp and after words you had to push the buttons really hard to make them work.  Also the joy stick will get stuck.  I have heard other people have had this problem and i wanted to know if anyone knows how to fix it.  Thanks,

The analog you should screw it down more, and make sure the screws holding the faceplate and backplate are screwed on tight. Sometimes if there is a small gap between them the analog can mess up. if anything just solder wires form the analog directly to the 4 parts on the mobo.

Why do u say solder it?  Did u think i meant it got stuck on the screen because its just the actuall joy stick pad that gets stuck.  Either way thanks for the response and ill make sure to check all the screws cause i have to take it apart anyway to grind of some plastic so the gears dont rub.  Damn these clear cases have so many problems.

that's the issue of aftermarket casing..

the analog has the tendency to drift..

tweaking the tightness of your screw will do the job

and some modifications on the case itself as well..

good luck buddy...

Another thing you might want to check is the small rubber pad that sits between the analog stick and the mobo. If that is damaged even slightly then it will cause the joystick to drift or not work at all. Hopefully it should just be a case of tightening up the screw on the bottom left of the psp case, under the analog. If not, check the pad.

As socomhacker said, sand down the bottoms of the buttons so there more flat. You could add a little holt glue under them to get better contact.
