You have to buy the cards separately, and you can get them from anywhere... like wal-mart, target, best buy, etc... Both should work, but seeing as the cr-5400 is 3rd party stuff, it might not last as long

An 8gb sandisc will be a lot cheaper in the end. It's only one cost.

With the photofast, you have to buy it, and two 4gb micro sd cards to get the same 8gb. Also the speed may not be as good with the photofast since micro sd does not have as high of a read/write rate as a regular mspd.

For about $110 I just bought the Photofast CR-5400 and two 16GB Sandisk MicroSDHC.
I remember when I bought my 8GB card for around that price... but now you can get an 8GB card for around $30.

So its all up to you, if you want more than 16GB then get the Photofast CR-5400 and two 16GB Sandisk MicroSDHC

Hmm. Well I guess if it's that cheap, you don't really have anything to lose from buying the photofast. I'd go that route.

So, I'm feeling pretty good about them not being fake sandisk MicroSDHC cards.

What the heck is that? Do you mean PhotoFast CR-5400? Isn't that what this threads about?

There's a major downside to the photofast CR-5400, though its still a very good card.

I bought one and 2 Kingston 8GB SDHC micro SD's. Almost everything works perfectly. The only problem was, after a little while, SOME homebrew apps stopped working, UMD drive functions stopped, and all sound out of the XMB stopped working. It's perfect if you want tons of ISO's, but that's just about all its good for (By the way, not all ISO/CSO games work either. I dumped my UMD of NFS: Undercover and it didn't work on the card.)

I can't really say its that bad not having sound in ISO games. Its not too bad being able to have my entire PSP library on the go. I use it all the time, I just also have a SanDisk 4GB Pro Duo for all the apps/games that don't work on the CR-5400.

where the hell have you found a REAL micro sd card for 40.00? it most likly a fake. they start around 80-100$ dollars
