First, sound reactive L and R on a slim is the easyiet led mod there is

Second to use the wifi switch you will have to do the LM386, and dont recomend this method for a first mod

yeah watt matters it needs to be 15,and if your really good and careful,30
I recomend just buying one for 15$ at radio shack

Also get 0603 leds and make sure the v rateing is at about 5, this way its bright but wont blow out

You need 30 awg Knyar wire

And last flux makes soldering alot easyeir and cleaner. you put a little to where your soldering, it bonds well, comes out good, and makes it easyier to attach solder

flux isn't necessary, I don't use it but I hear it's helpful, but it's not something you NEED.

If you follow his tut you will have them on and off by wlan, but they will be only sound active

The voltage rating (V rating) should be about 3... not 5.

Most SMD I have are only 2v.

Yeah Rosh, just follow l0rdnico0's tut and you should be fine, the Wiki is gone along time ago but read all the posts on pages 1-3 L0rdNic0 posted all the links again that work.

Yeah, red LEDs... Blue, white, etc. are usually 3. Show me a 2v blue led and I will be impressed.

But yeah, blazinkaos' diagram is basically how you wanna do it. You just need to remove the 2nd set of leds. I will try it and show you a diagram if I have time.
