E74 = Epic fail

Ya doods, one of my xbox three :censored:sties got the E74 error. Its the first mobo with the HDMI. its error code 1022, which is HANA or GPU problem. what do you guys recomend i do to fix it?

it is now covered under waranty. call microsoft. if its open, scrap it, sell the parts, according to microsoft, the E74 is worse than the RROD it is not fixable. now who is to say reflowing the HANA chip wont help or fix it? it would be worth a shot, but probably futile

if its not coverd under warrenty just heat the board up with a hair dryer and then xclamp it works a charm for me just rember to keep it cool and tyten then screw regularly

you cannot xclamp the hana chip. the hana chip is the one in the back without heat sinks. you could atempt to reflow the chip. but the xclamp would be useless for E74.

e74 is very rarly jew to the hana and ana chips its userly the gpu in the 20 or so consoles i have repaired for e74 only one has been down to the hana chip failing
