hey,

     this morning for me was really weird, i woke up and started thing about volume knobs (the ones in like guitar amps).
 would it be possible to connect on up to the volume bit on the power board zif?

Yes, with a linear potentiometer and a microcontroller sure. You cannot simply wire it in however, since the powerboard connections are only to register button presses which control a digital potentiometer..

yes i understand it wouldn't work because the volume buttons need to be pressed.
