psp battery problem

so recently my psp stopped detecting my battery it will turn on with the charger but will not notice the battery at all its as if its not put at all
can some 1 please help me with this i want my psp portable agin

did you check if any of the contacts on the psp (that connect to the battery) are bent or broken? and did you check if when the psp is off, will the battery charge (orange light)?

thanx but the leads seem for the psp and the battery both seem fine and the psp shows nno signs of detecting a battery theres no indicator that shows how much life is left and battery info is all blank i really need some help here

Did you try a different battery?

If you try a different battery and your PSP detects it then we have isolated the problem to be your battery.

so the problem is in my battery cause i tried my friends and it worked fine

That's good to hear. :) Atleast you're only replacing a battery (20 bucks at the most) and it's not something wrong with your psp.

yup i know but i think i might be able to fix it cause its an cheap crapy 1 and i can see a fuse on it for the power and i might have blown it so ill bridge it and see what happens if not ill just get a new battery
