So I went to this party last night, right?

There were beverages for those of the age of twenty one or above. Obviously everybody had a grand o' time. [Not a huge party, all fairly good friends] Well, the host of the parties older brother and I got to talking about computers and programming and things along those lines. So the party dragged on and I pretty much sat in his wicked computer room and just talked tech. Well this morning he made breakfast for all of the teens under the age of twenty one with an odd case of 'morning sickness'. He then brought up that he had a Mac Book Pro upstairs in his room. I asked to toy with it a little bit so he brought it down. Well after a few minutes he told me he was selling it, because he is about to join the military. [Officers School - Lieutenant] and he would not be taking this Mac because he doesn't like it. [He has a wicked ASUS set up] About fifteen minutes into breakfast he said "You know what, you are pretty cool and I am going to be a pal. You can have it, just take it home." So he just gave me a Mac Book Pro, external hard drive and all the software and everything. For free. That so made my weekend.

I was thinking of that myself, and then I started to use it >.<. It's always come down to "buying a mac you only get the name"

See my statement above, and know this. I don't believe that to be true any longer. I must say it is an awesome piece of technology. The only problem with the mac is that I need to replace the current battery. It holds about an hour charge.

The lights on the battery that show the charge level are just entertaining. Anyone done an led swap with a mac battery? That would be wicked. Have the first light be red, second orange, the third yellow and the last green.

Um no clue. Those type of drinks don't do anything for me... I could drink them all night and nothing happens. I'd rather have AMP to be honest. At least its cheaper XD

So what do you thinks better Mac or Pc?

I am use to PC however the Mac is a new toy to play with. Right now I would have to say PC simply because I haven't unlocked the Mac to everything I'll be able to do on it.

LOL legal drinking age in UK is probably 19. Or probably less... Because I used to hear stories about 12 year olds drinking wine in the UK. Or maybe those were rumours... Anyway in Canada the legal drinking age is 19 (18 if you're in Quebec) and we follow a lot of British traditions, so...

well i think you can legally buy drink at 18.. but you can drink it from 5 yrs old in your home..

you can purchase alcohol on its own in a pub or shop at 18. you can purchase beer or whine(no spirits) at 16 with a full mean at a restraunt. you can legally drink on private property under the supervision of your parents from the ages of 5 i think it might be 4.

I know right, I feel like such a dirty girl. Aside for the fact that I am not female, and I almost didn't go to the party. On a side note, That was the first night I ever spoke with the guy. I had no knowledge of his existence what so ever before the party. I have no way to get in touch with him either XD

Yes he was the host's older brother, he bought her the drinks. He figured his sister and friends would drink if they tried there hardest so he just let them so that it would be in a controlled environment. However he is going into the military in a month or so.
