What to do with it....

I bought two 16gb sdhc cards back in december for the mod off. Unfortunately one of them died. I've searched forever to see if there was a fix for a dead memory stick but no luck. The seller that I bought the cards from is no longer available so a refund is out of order.

Any recommendations?

buy one on ebay. and swap it out? go to a retailer and do the same ?

lol. the best thing to do right now is go buy the card or somin from best buy or any major electronic store. im pretty sure they cant tell the difference. but dont underestamate them. i tryed returning a game at walmart. i only played it once. i thought i was smart and stuff. since the customer return person was a lady im like hell yea i get my money back. well she told me to go get the game so i did. the lady brought it up front. she scaned it and everything. THEN she pulled out a key im like ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh dont do it. THEN SHE OPPENED THE GAME UP IM LIKE NOOOOOOOO


i couldnt return but she said i can get an exchange. so thats whne all of the above happened lmao

Lol I saw this I. The movie hotel fir dogs. The kid took plastic wrap and wrapped a box then used a hand dryer to turn iti to shrink wrap. Maybe you coul do that and claim is was never opened.

Ok guys unless someone has any legal ideas about what Robotiks can do with his broken card this thread needs to stop.  Every suggestion here is illegal, i dont care if that is how you want to go about your life, but do not discuss it here.

Figuring out how to turn your loss into someone elses is dishonest, even if it is an evil corporation like walmart.

Everyone here including and espeacially Bud knows better then this.  I hope people understand that you cant go through life believing that someone owes you something, cuz guess what, they dont. you are the only ones that owe yourselves something, and that is to be able to look yourself in the mirror and know that you are good people and sometimes things dont work out how you want them to, just got to suck it up.

Poo..so that means I can't get out of it easy. But basically I am returning it to transcend b/c it was faulty. I am just not returning it through the same seller.

hmm, when you put it like that...... it is still not honest, cuz you are putting the burden on someone else.

Like i said, I really could care less if that is what you are going to do, but with all the young impressionable minds running around here, I would hate for someone to get the impression that this is ok, and that Acidmods condones this type of behaviour.  harmless enough, and if you can live with it fine, but it is little things like this that will chip away at someones values and lead them to bigger and better scams like switching a high value items.

have you contacted Transcend? when they tell you to bring it back to the seller inform them of who sold them to you.  You never know they could take care of you and they may tell you to bring it to an authorized dealer for exchange, but on the other hand whoever sold them to you may have picked them up after they "fell" off a truck so the situation may be a hard one to remedy.  Either way, this conversation is against AM rules because no matter how small and harmless it is still considered fraud and in most of the civilized world, fraid is illegal no matter how small.

i noticed every item that is returned to walmart isnt at the store anymore. do they ship it back to the company or somin?

Well I think they send it back to the company so they can repackage and resell. If it's faulty, it goes back to the company for them to trash or something.
