Playing old school Nintendo games on the Wii can be a pain if you can't get accustomed to their controls using Wiimotes. With Komodo's Retro Adapter, you can plug in any NES, SNES and N64 controllers to your Wii and play instantly. The adapter, which is shaped like a mini N64 console, fits into a GameCube controller port and has female plugs that receive both first and third party gaming accessories. Available in mid-June for $20, I'll definitely have to pick up one of these so the next time my boyfriend's losing at a game, he can no longer complain that there's "something wrong with the controller."
Robin I r sorrieez.
cant we just use a gamecube control and be happy?
You don't seem to get it.
I'm not getting one if it doesn't have n64.
Backburn, read my link before you post please. And it supports everything that supports gamecube controllers. It's an N64/SNES/NES TO GAMECUBE ADAPTER. Geez. It goes in the GCN ports as a GCN controller. My common sense is tingling.
The Komodo Retro Adapter was supposed to ship in June, but that never happened. What pushed the device back? Distributor Innex has said that there was configuration issues with the N64 controller port, so they've dropped that support altogether. Now the device is set to come out in September, and will only feature NES/SNES controller inputs.
I hope that it supports Virtual Console Classics
