LCD ribbon cable clip

is there anyway to fix the broken brown clip that holds the ribbon cable in place?

You mean the black clamp that locks the cable in place?
 I broke mine too, and then I used some model aircraft "plastic glue" too glue it. Yes it back together, but the piece is so small and  fragile that hard to put back in the psp. I broke the psp screen back light clamp,
you can try gluing it back and use a tweezers and put it. It hard though.

Ok witch one are you talking about there like several clips. The lcd the umd reader witch one.

theres only 2 for the LCD  iam talking bout he one that shoes videos next to the backlight one

Oh that one for the umd reader. Mm idk about that one if you can find a way to keep that ribbon down it may work again.

I broke the black light connector on the motherboard.  Had to spend days till I ended up finding a replacement on ebay. Should be getting it in a few days.

Man dnt hate when that stuff happens especially the back light. I broken the black clip for the display clip but i was able to get that work by pressing the pins down onto the ribbon.

you can always slip a peice of paper between the ribbon and pins.

yea those too, im pretty sure other modders on this site have done it. Next time i break the clip i will post pictures of how i done it since not everyone is familiar with it.
