welcome to acidmods

im starting my first mod soon (besides changing a faceplate)-->triggermod, its all soldered togehter just gotta solder to power board

Hi all im new too,

My psp is still normal now, gonna do the folowing things asap:

1. Downgrade and Mod the FW (not gonna do it myself tho)
2. Buy a chrome faceplate from coolmods.co.uk
3. try to find green led's (is this possible???)
4. try to get a custom jewel made (maybe by acidmods, is it still possible to get one made?)
5. get a full clear case (i mean the one u can look thru) and use the backside only so i have chrome front and clear back with custom jewel and green led's n stuff

i know u all think now, omg that guy is crazy doing that all at once, but i just like to get things done quick and i think i can do it with help of all these tutorial's here

the leds yes u can get in green try ebay for them

im getting f00 f00 to do somthing like that for me at the minute as im to busy and poor at college to learn how to mod (pottential f'ups) and then to get it working. i do plan however come summer when i leave college to learn how to mod and get a job so that i can afford to do so.

I respect that u don't wanna do it urself, but i do recommend to do it urself, coz it's rlly fun thing to do, and u will have ur own piece of work.. i mean when gameboy colour was gettin cheap and stuff i did some changes to my gameboy too... i was still small and broke it in the end.. but it was still fun, and wif all these tuto's here, u can easely do it urself, just follow the steps. Just a reminder: im not saying u MUST do it urself, i'm just saying that it's fun and ur result in the end will make u proud as hell, believe me

u can get a full replacement case here www.coolmods.co.uk and if u tell them acidmods sent u i think u get a bonus of some sort...and i have only ever seen a crystal clear full case so if any1 else knows where we can get other colours please post thanks.....

How many PSPs. I've only got 1 and its broke.

The one with the dual nub would look better if it wasn't raised up higher than the left nub.

All in all I like.

my psp is stock, except a TOTALLY modified XMB..lol, i might try exterior mods later, but im usin my PS3 more than my PSP rite now, so i might just skip right to PS3 modding.

If you use your PS3 more than your PSP try modding your PSP first since you won't go through withdrawl because of downtime, and you would probably be pretty upset if you messed up your PS3. besides since the PS3 is so new there aren't as many mods for it, using your PSP first would give you some practice for when you step up to the PS3.

So true man. I have that problem with my psp [well not any more since i got 2]. BUt yeah usually i just seal off my mods halfway done with electrical tape just so i can play socom at night lol

iv just chopped my usb cable and mains adaptor up and wired them together and now my psp charges from the mains through the usb.
as for it been any quicker i dont no but theoretically it should be.
if anyones intereasted, when you strip the usb cable you will find there is 5 wires. the red one is for pos and the black for neg.

yeah the side usb port is for an external joystick.

and to someone way up there, i have 2 psp's ATM, buyin a 3rd off a friend for 100 soon

ok update on mine redone the light in the back alsodone the mem and wifi led swap and will add another colour to the triggers soon

also done the usb mod as u can see no battery in just the usb lead

nice, are you keeping the Black case? im still unsure whether to do the LED mod, and what colour, blue may get drowned out (the rest will be blue) i was thinking either red, orange or yellow.
