I'm pretty sure you can't get a changing colour 0603 SMD but you can most definitely get 3mm changing colour LEDs. I've got a pack of them at home somewhere.

I know you can get slow fading and color changing 3mm leds off Llamma and probably ebay and such.

They do make SMD RGB leds but they dont slow fade and color change by themselves you would need a PIC or such to do that..

0603 SMD RGB is too small ;)

there are 1208 ones ;) i've seen some on conrad.nl
