Does the LM386 IC chip make the psp speakers louder? I am totally confused with this stuff. I have a psp phat (1000, thats why im posting here) and I am about to do the sound reactive LEDs mod. I've already ordered the 0603 leds from ebay. Now the problem is that I want to have it work with a switch (wifi/hold (prefer hold)). I PMed Jumbo (Global Moderator) and he replied with the following message:
You can use the Hold switch but you need to use a LM386 IC chip and some resistors. You can use the WIFI switch with this method too.
You can use the Dip switch for direct contact or using a 2n2222 Transistor.
So I searched the site and I couldn't find a diagram/tutorial for using a LM386 IC or 2n2222 transistor on psp phat. I found like 3 for psp slim but none for phat
. Can anyone help?
