Alright so i need some help, I have one Computer that is my newest and I have my old server that i have, Now i dont know which one is faster, in terms of performance, as i wanna switch away from one to the other, il give specs and remember i have MANY parts, my newest is as far as i can take it but my Server isnt i need them in general terms of which is better.
The one im using.
Asus- m2npv-vm
AMD 4600+ OC'ed to 2.52GHZ(cant go higher mobo is a POS)
4gb Ram- 2gb Gskill, 2gb corsair
4 harddrives totaling over 1tb(i would switch these over)
Geforce 8600GT(sucks so bad i dont even wanna start)
Antec Twelvehundred(would also switch over)
DVD Burner(Sata) would also switch over,
Corsair 550HX Also idk id have to see if it has the 8pin plug.
The server i wanna switch to.
ASUS PC-DL Delux
DDR1 Ram- i think it can take to 4gb id have to read manual again
500wat psu
2x 2.8ghz intel Xeons(both hyperthread enabled)
AGP Slot, i have some nice cards
in a temporary case for now, so id do alot of work to switch these cases but I need some advice to see if this is actually worth it.
let me know, All the info i have given is basically all i know, The AMD one im using is pretty good, but the motherboard heat sensors are dead and causing me BSOD's based off of heat. So let me know ur opinion. I dont play games i basically do alot of multitasking so i need to know what is good.
