How do you keep joints unexposed?
« on: July 25, 2009, 03:56:03 PM »
Inside my PSP, i had the joints covered with electrical tape when i only had the LEDs and such for a trigger mod. Just recently, I did the RoL mod, and then put blue ones in addition to the green ones for a total of 6 new LEDs. the electrical tape doesn't work here anymore, as there are way too many joints now. how do you guys keep joints unexposed inside you PSP? (just for clarification, i mean wire to wire joints)

you can always run a small jumper then put your connects to the jumper, so only one set of wires is going to the speakers.

no, I have a lot of wires connecting to each other with solder joints, but i don't want them exposed to touch other joints and short out...

hot glue will protect ur solder job from shorting.

In the industry it would be referred to as "conformal coating".
