Xbox Mods

So I've softmodded my Xbox and it's running UnleashX, but what else can I do from here? How do I let it rip games and/or DVDs to my Xbox? How do I add emulators, etc.

Also, are there other/better dashboards that I should be running? I would like to turn this into a complete multimedia center that I can take with me to other places...I'm considering xbmc, but don't see any current advantages.

XBMC is supposed to be really good as a multimedia dashboard, and appears to be what most people use when they turn their xboxes into a multimedia center, so I would assume there has to be some advantages. As for everything else, not sure. :P
