please dont ban me for this its just a question. Is it illegal to make 360 back ups or is it ok if you just rent the game and copy it or to make a copy of a game that you own. Im just double checking cause me and my friend keep fighting about which one is legal and illegal

Its okay to copy a game that you own, for your own use. It is illegal to copy a rented game.

ok thx but how do people make back up copys and dont you need to mod your xbox so they can be played and dont you get banned from xbox live for modding your xbox?

Yes u need to mod ur xbox to play backups , Yes you can get banned from xbox live if they detect you using a copied disk. I dont have an xbox so i cant say but i believe that some stealth patches have been developed which prevent detection. Other members might be able to help you more with that.

Theres alot of stuff in the 360 scene that makes it impossible to get detected. You need to get it stealth patchs, get the game verified, run it though a gam scanner (best atm is ABGX360) and ur fine.
