PSP Not Charging when WiFi is enabled

My psp is not charging anymore every time I go to network and using WiFi, I dont know what's wrong.

It's charging when wifi is not activated.

In your XMB go to settings-Energy Settings-WLAN Power Save

my psp does not charge on wifi either. i think its normal. the wifi may just use too much power.

Hmmm... but before my PSP can charge while on WiFi.

I suspect it something to do with the software, coz it will stop charging when WiFi on.

Before I had a bad key on 0041.bin, It can charge even if I use the wifi, I fixed my Key using KeyCleaner because I want to use the remotejoy and after I fixed the keys I cant charge when wifi is on.

Nah some games dont let you change the wifi power save. What game are you playing online?

I play Monster Hunter Freedom Unite in Xlink Kai. I can charge while playing online before I fixed my key 0041.bin after that it wont charge anymore.

Say charging is orange, when wifi is active the charging indicator stops and it's green.

yeah, it does the same to me when I play Medal Of Honor Heros 2.
i havent tried that setting though.

And I found out the reason is this.

As you know, all of the PSPs' batteries are Lithium-Ion batteries. The more you use them, the shorter its life time be. That is normal. Those kind of batteries can stand for 1000 recharges before they completely die. So the cause of this problem is that your battery is becoming weaker and weaker day by day in a very small ratio. Don't be afraid, this is normal.

If the CPU is overlocked on 222 MHz and the PSP is charging VIA wifi, that means that your battery is in its early ages. So it is strong and can handle its full power (charge while wifi led is on).

If the CPU is overlocked on 222 MHz and the PSP is not charging, that means that your battery is weaker than before by a small ratio. This ratio determines it.

Wifi drains so much juice from the PSP. Anyways, overlock the CPU on 333 MHz to check if there isn't any problem. All PSP users would eventually notice this. This is just the normal aging of the battery.

i think its just the software updates. my psp used to to charge on wifi when it was on old firmware and when i updated for the first time, then it stoped charging. this is on all my psps, they dont charge on wifi
