Basic tut on soft modding 360 games(pictures coming later)

Items needed:
1. Xbox 360 Transfer Kit/Xsata
2. Xbox 360 hard drive...any size
3. Computer with either Xplorer 360 or Xport 360-For this tut we'll be using Xplorer 360
4. Any type of Hex editor e.g. HxD, Modio, or CoD tool

CoD Tool 1.5 Beta 2- http://www.mediafire.com/file/kwod2oiomx2/CoD Tool v1.5 Beta 2.exe

Steps:
1.Connect you hard drive into your computer via Tranfer Kit or Xsata

2. Open either Xplorer 360 or Xport 360- We will be using Xplorer 360 for this tut
 If you are running vista then right clike and Run as Administrator

3. At the top left click drive> open> Hard Drive or MemCard

4. Now once it loads click on Partition 3

5.Now find content and click it

6.Now find your profile
 The Top folder which is all 0's is your public profile where you can mod your avatar data and stuff like that
 The profile folders are from oldest to newest, newest being at the bottom

7.Once you click on your profile folder you will need to find the game you want to mod

8. For this tut we will be using CoD4...Click on the CoD4 folder and click the next folder which should be 00000001..then right click on savegame.svg and click extract...I would extract it to my desktop

9.Now open up CoD tool and click open on the left and find the game save that you just extracted

10. Now using the tabs at the top you can edit whatever you want...I would not recommend changing anything on the last tab

11.Ok once your done changing what you want click save changes and it should say done, modded, rehashed, and resigned.

12.Go back into Xplorer 360 and into cod4..Then right click below your game save and click insert file then find your file that you saved on your desktop or wherever you extracted it. It will ask if you want to overwrite click yes.

And there you go...You have just modded CoD4...Now you can unplug your hard drive and put it in your xbox and play CoD4 with your new mods


WARNING:IN THE ENVIROMENT TAB ON COD TOOL, DO NOT PUT THE GAME SPEED ALL THE WAY UP..IT WILL MAKE YOU XBOX FREEZE..JUST LEAVE IT AT DEFAULT.
