Finally almost done, on the home stretch now....

Took this when I started 3 hours ago

Heres an after pic

Now I only need to do the "P" which is 38 LEDs and I'm pretty much done, then put the PS3 back together. Might be done tonight, not sure yet tho

Iight so I didn't get it done tonight, I had

to do so I uploaded the video of the "S" being wired up and a lil light show of it so enjoy.

And this project will be done tomorrow regardless so check back...

Holy f*ck I'm finally done with this beast lol. So it's DONE and it's working 100%, put 7hrs in to the "P" section, 4hrs glueing and 3hrs wiring the f*ckin thing.

So here is the "P" being made

Here it is lit up (inside view)

Electrical taped to perfection

The new home

Heres a pic of it glowing in the light

And heres a pic of it shining in its glory with the 9 LED controller

Will have a vid of the past 2 days progress up tomorrow around noon.

And the final entry vid will be made tomorrow...... hope yall enjoy!

Thanks yall, it does look nice but wait to you see it in action. I'm just editing the video right now, been up in 3 hours or so. I really need upgrade my computer it's really slow using Pinnacle PowerDirector7. If I win I would rather have cash to put a decent graphics card in lol, I'm in need of a new rig. I really only use this computer for homework and browsing, but the PSP would be cool regardless, I've never

If you ever go back and work on this in the future, you should make those 2 lines above/below "Playstation 3" into VU meters. Make the top one pulse to the right, and the bottom one pulse to the left. That'd be awesome.

I did a little battery life test for fun on my 9 LED dualshock3 and I got 4hrs 17min from a full charge playing COD4. I can now say it will only be used as a spare or as a display item. 15hrs is the normal life of an unmodified DS3, my 9 LED controller is now hopelessly impracticle.

Well the mobo is pretty much the same size as the case. and the blu-ray drive is around 8inch x 5inch or so. I aint gonna open it up anytime soon, I dont wanna screw one of my wires up.

ok lol i wouldnt want to open that up with those wires O.o but thx for the blu-ray who knew it was hard to find out dimensions of internal parts XD

Blu-ray power, its one of the wires going to it.

if you want to dim your lights slightly, lower the voltage going to them a little... it will also extend the life slightly, or drastically if your slightly over-volting them....

nice mod, kinda messy, but the outside is all that matters. (i woulda used 0603 led's) heh.. but then again i dont has ps3, but i can has led's!
