Hi, I want to start making 'Backups' and I only have a laptop :(. Is it possible to get a external DL writer Drive that I can plug into my laptop??

yes, but they are costly. my lapptop has a DL drive. also costly.LOL

I have this drive at work, have not used it for DL writing, but capable, I think it was like $140 or so

I hope you also realize to make your own backups it has to be a Samsung Kreon drive, with flashed firmware.
